American Oak story

 

It’s the story of a magnificent American Red Oak that fell after more than seventy years peaceful growing in the back yard of a charming property.

Its timeless inner beauty inspired Belgian artist Luc Deroo a new series of sculptures.

Heart wood, sapwood, cambium or bark fragments, nothing were wasted.
